Job Role: Desktop Support Engineer
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac).
- Set up and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Assist with network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Handle user account management, password resets, and access control.
- Provide remote and on-site support to employees.
- Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
- Document and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
✔ Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
✔ Experience: 1–3 years of IT support experience (Freshers with relevant skills can apply).
✔ Technical Skills: Knowledge of Windows OS, networking, Active Directory, Office 365, and troubleshooting tools.
✔ Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
✔ Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified (MCSA, MCSE)
